“The natural talent, professionalism and engaging stage presence, on display during The Runaway's set at the Albury Music Festival, made it hard to believe that these young musicians were still at school. Their very appealing cocktail of cleverly arranged classics, such as ‘Feeling Good’ and Staying Alive’, carefully blended with their own writing – a uniquely fresh and jazzy sound – was just perfect for such a balmy afternoon. There was no weak link in this line up, with each member contributing impressively to a tight and innovative sound - and as the sun shone directly over this gem of a festival, the path ahead for this musically intelligent four piece, seemed very bright indeed.”
